Kelechi Eke is a professionally trained pharmacist with a burning passion for painting. He started sketching and drawing complex figures from a young age and eventually found his true calling in painting exotic semi-nude African female figures in oil on canvass. His artworks tell sublime stories about the African woman and showcase her rare culture, skills, strength and natural beauty. Despite sparingly practicing pharmacy, painting burns in his bones and keeps him up most nights just like a woman in labour until he has delivered the work he has conceived. Kelechi is inspired by the African woman and strives to portray her in her true light, a fine mix of mastery with exotic elegance and feminine beauty.
